New at First Dutch DeLorean Site John DeLorean has died aged 80 (Mrch-20-2005) DeLorean died Saturday at the Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, from complications from a stroke, said Paul Connell, owner of Desmond and Sons funeral home in Michigan. Dick Mulholland, a former worker at DeLorean's factory in Dunmurry, said he inspired the workforce when he first brought the company to the province.
